John G. Schulte, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Schulte has more than 30 years experience leading medical device companies, ranging from start-ups to divisions of Fortune 500 companies and $100mm publically traded companies.
Prior to joining Mitralign, Mr. Schulte was President and CEO of Spectranetics, a leader on the treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease. During his six year tenure, Spectranetics grew from $25mm to over $100mm and was named one of Fortune’s 100 fastest growing small businesses for 3 consecutive years.
He also has extensive experience in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Surgery and Interventional Neuroradiology. He has served as President of the USCI Division of CR bard, a pioneer in the field of Interventional Cardiology, Bard Electrophysiology, Genzyme Biosurgery and Somnus Medical. He was also Senior Vice President and General Manager, International and Peripheral for Target Therapeutics, the leading Interventional Neuroradiology company, prior to its acquisition by Boston Scientific
Mr. Schulte has a BS degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University.

Richard J. Omilanowicz, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Omilanowicz brings 32 years of manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and product development experience in the medical device and plastics industries. Richard most recently served as Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations of St. Jude Medical, Inc.,/Endocardial Solutions, Inc.. Prior to that, Mr. Omilanowicz served as General Manager of McKechnie Plastic Components and Director of Research, Development and Engineering at the Pharmaseal Division of Baxter International, Inc. |

Lazar Mandinov, M.D., Ph.D., F.E.S.C., Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Mandinov brings extensive expertise in clinical trials (phase I to IV) as well as clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, valve disease, heart failure, cardiovascular imaging and animal desease models. Before joining Mitralign, he served as Medical Director at Boston Scientific where he had been responsible for pivotal trials on drug eluting stents, and ultimately successful approval of a new generation paclitaxel eluting stent in Europe and USA. Prior to that, Dr. Mandinov was at the Maine Medical Center Research Institute, where he developed a new treatment for restenosis. He received his MD and PhD degrees from Medical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. He trained in, and practiced cardiology and interventional cardiology at the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases in Sofia as well as at the University Hospitals in Zurich and Bern, Switzerland. He published more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and abstracts. Dr. Mandinov was recipient of research grants and winner of international awards, and is a member of several international scientific societies, and elected Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. |

Lisa Graham, Manager of Quality
Lisa brings over 25 years of experience working in the medical device industry primarily in a quality assurance role, supporting products and or processes from concept through commercialization. Lisa provides the commitment and passion for creating and implementing value added Quality Systems that are compliant to ISO and FDA requirements. Lisa successfully led two organizations in achieving ISO certification for 9001 and 13485 standards. Lisa received a Masters in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School. |
